The Saudi Ministry of Municipalities and Housing confirmed that the total areas of white land that entered the development or circulation paths in the areas of Tabuk, Hail and Jazan amounted to 7 million square meters, within the results of the application of the white land fees system and vacant real estate, and efforts to stimulate the development of land, and raise the efficiency of its use within the urban domains, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry said that the areas included 5.3 million square meters of white land that entered into circulation, and 466 thousand square meters of land that was developed, in addition to 1.3 million square meters of land under development, in results that reflect the impact of fees in stimulating the circulation and development of unused land.

She explained that the impact of the fees extended to supporting housing projects in the three areas, as the number of projects that benefited from the revenues of white land fees reached 21 projects, within the framework of directing the revenues of fees to support housing projects and raise the readiness of the associated infrastructure.
The ministry pointed to the continuation of work to stimulate landowners to develop and benefit from it, accelerate the entry of unused land into the urban development cycle, raise the efficiency of land use for city entrances, increase the real estate and housing supply, and support the balance between supply and demand.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry announced earlier the results of the application of white land fees and vacant real estate in a number of regions of the Kingdom, as the total areas of land that entered development or circulation amounted to about 286 million square meters, including 146 million square meters in the eastern region, 71 million in the Riyadh region, 28 million in the Mecca region, 19 million in the Medina region, and 15 million in the Qassim region, in addition to 7 million square meters entered the development paths in the Asir region.
