His Highness the Amir of the Eastern Province stressed that the development of tourist and recreational destinations contributes to the diversification of available options, supports economic and tourism mobility, enhances the quality of life in the cities of the region, and provides a variety of options for people and visitors, commensurate with the elements of the Eastern Province and its location in the Arabian Gulf.
His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Region, Eng. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, explained that the project provides an integrated experience that combines entertainment, tourism, hospitality and marine activities, and enhances the attractiveness of the waterfront, stressing that the Municipality is keen to develop its municipal assets in partnership with the private sector, thus contributing to attracting quality investments and providing destinations that meet the aspirations of residents and visitors.
The CEO of Al Muhaidib Group, Mr. Essam Al Muhaidib, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province for his patronage and inauguration, explaining that Bayfront, owned by Al Muhaidib Group, developed by Ajdan Real Estate Development Company with the support and empowerment of the Eastern Province Municipality and the Tourism Development Fund, represents a new sea destination that extends a kilometer along the Arabian Gulf, and includes four areas, including restaurants and cafes overlooking the sea, a sandy beach, pedestrian corridors, open spaces and various recreational facilities, indicating that the project embodies the trend towards the development of quality destinations that contribute to the development of cities and their humanization, and transforming their spaces into vital destinations, in order to support the economic and tourism movement in the Eastern Province.
